This is called “Mokraj” or the Moroccan version of a kettle. It’s the water container used to heat up water before using it in the tea making. It is also used for the guests during the handwashing ceremony right before meals. Besides its uses, the “Mokraj” can be also used as a piece of decoration. Made usually with copper, this one also has details of camel bone which make it extra special and beautiful to look at.
